    CHECKWIND v8.4.0 released

    CHECKWIND v8.4.0 adds finer control over terrain zoning, more flexible structure definitions, and broader analysis outputs.

    New mast modelling, draggable terrain/exposure zones, custom height increments, and expanded pressure outputs.

    New features and enhancements

    • STRUCTURE: New MAST type.
    • SITE: Adjust extents of Terrain Category zones by dragging to AS/NZS 1170-2011, AS/NZS 1170-2021 and MS 1553-2002.
    • SITE: Adjust extents of Exposure Category zones by dragging to ASCE 7-10, ASCE 7-16, ASCE 7-22, ASCE 7-21, AASHTO LRFS LTS-1, NSCP 2015, TIA-222-H and TIA-222-I.
    • SITE: Adjust extents of Terrain zones by dragging to CSA S37-18, NBCC 2015 and NBCC 2020.
    • SITE: Adjust extents of Terrain Category zones by dragging to IS 875.
    • ANALYSIS: Specify custom height (z) increments.
    • PRESSURES: Determine wind coefficients and pressures for any height (z) above ground level.
